Our SMS Program

Healz offers an optional SMS (text message) program so you can reach Healz and receive updates by text. Providing a mobile number is optional and is not required to use the Service. We send two types of messages, and we collect consent for them separately:

  • Account & service messages (transactional): verification codes, account and appointment notifications, and reminders. You consent to these when you connect SMS.
  • Promotional messages (marketing): occasional health tips and members-only offers. These are sent only if you separately opt in through a distinct, off-by-default choice. You can use the Service and receive account messages without opting in to marketing.

How You Opt In

Opt-in happens inside the Healz app. After you sign in, you choose to connect SMS and enter your own mobile number to start receiving account & service messages. Promotional messages are never on by default: they require a separate, off-by-default choice that you actively turn on at the same step. You are the only person who can enter and confirm your number.
